A Great One passes. Robert Rauschenberg died Monday evening in his Florida home at he age of 82. Rauschenberg was known for turning trash and ordinary household trash into works of art, compiling them into what he referred to as "combines." Rauschenberg experimented with mixed media, and transformed the his canvases with both painting and sculpture.
