Jasmine Rodriguez, 21, aka Vintage Vandalizm

"Eccentric." That is how Jasmine chose to describe her style.  From her avant-garde makeup, to the interchangeable studs on her Dolce and Gabbana shoes, Jasmine draws style inspiration from history and pin up girls.

Who is Jasmine's style icon? "I'm like Bettie Paige. She was rebellious. That's what I like about her." Betty Paige is not only Jasmine’s style icon, but is her muse. When not working retail, Jasmine is painting pin-ups in her free time.

What animal is she most like, based on how she dresses? "A chameleon.  Not in the sense that they adapt to their environment, but because they are constantly re-inventing themselves."  And when asked what animal her ideal lover would be, she replied, "A penguin because they look good in tuxedos and top hats and take great care of their baby penguins."

Jasmine’s wants to inspire women not to set limitations on themselves or who they are. She seems to be setting a fine example for many women to follow.  If you ever find yourself shopping at Betsey Johnson in Soho, be sure to ask for Jasmine.
